    Cyber    Bullying

“Cyber-Bullying is poised to turn into the biggest online concern, already affecting up to 35% of all children."

Dr.Martyn Wild, Cyber Safety Expert

Welcome Year 7! Can you live without your phone, computer or even the internet? Not only has technology improved so many aspects of our everyday lives, but it is continuing to grow as a major resource of entertainment, information, business, and communication which can be accessed by anyone in the world. The internet, especially, serves as a super hub of global information which has no limit in its variety, depth and possibilities. As we continue to incorporate technology and the internet into our everyday lives for socialising, working or learning, we are at bigger risk of being exposed to people who abuse technology to harm us. We need to be aware that just as there are criminals in the physical world, there are people who commit cyber crimes that can bully and harass you.
